Day 1

Airport - Sigiriya

Assist by a Representative and proceed to Sigiriya,

Day 2

Sigiriya - Hiriwaduna - Sigiriya

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning, climb the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya (UNESCO),
Evening Hiriwaduna village safari.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Minneriya - Sigiriya

Continue towards Polonnaruwa (UNESCO)
Polonnaruwa: another ancient capital, showcases well­
preserved ruins like the Gal Vihara, depicting majestic Buddha statues, reflecting Sri Lanka's historical grandeur.
Evening, jeep safari of Minneriya National Park located in the North Central province of Sri Lanka.
Return and overnight stay at the hotel.
Minneriya: Home to the famous Minneriya National Park, this Sri Lankan gem mesmerizes with its vast reservoir, diverse wildlife, and the renowned Gathering of Elephants, an awe­inspiring natural spectacle.

Day 4

Sigiriya - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya

Breakfast at the hotel and day excursion to Anuradhapura.
Visit the historical site of Anuradhapura.
Return to the hotel.
Evening leisure at the hotel or enjoy spa/Ayurveda.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Anuradhapura: Ancient capital Anuradhapura unveils millennia-old ruins, stupas, and sacred trees. A pilgrimage for Buddhists and a UNESCO heritage site.

Day 5

Sigiriya - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to Kandy.
En route, visit the Dambulla rock caves.
Dambulla Cave Temple: A UNESCO site, Dambulla's cave complex houses ancient murals and statues, offering a spiritual journey amid the cultural splendor of Sri Lanka.
Thereafter proceed to Kandy.
En-route visit the Spice garden to see the process of spices being grown in Sri Lanka. Find cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom and black pepper, to name a few.
Arrival in Kandy
Check into the hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing around Kandy city, visiting an arts and crafts centre, Kandy Lake, Local markets, Wood carving workshop etc.
Enjoy a Cultural Dance performance in the evening
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kandy: Nestled amid hills, Kandy is a cultural gem. Home to the Temple of the Tooth, it showcases Sri Lanka's religious heritage and lush landscapes.

Day 6

Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy

Visit Peradeniya botanical garden
Evening visit the Temple of the Tooth (Dalada Maligawa) which is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha.

Day 7

Kandy - Nuwaraeliya - Bandarawela - Ella - Haputale

After breakfast proceed to Nuwaraeliya/Bandarawela/Ella/ Haputale
Short train ride from Kandy to Gampola (45min) in economy class where you can mix with local population.
En- route visiting a tea factory for a freshly brewed cup of tea and learn more about this magical plant which served for the country's economy for centuries.
Arrive in Nuwara-eliya.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of the Hill country
Visit the Gregory Lake, Golf course, Race course, strawberry farms etc.
Continue towards Bandarawela/Ella/Haputale.
Visit in and around Bandarawela.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8

Bandarawela - Ella - Haputale - Beach

Travel to your beach destination.
Check in to the beach resort.
In the afternoon, relax at your beach resort. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day excursion to Galle
Galle Fortress (UNESCO),
Return to the hotel and on the way, visit a turtle hatchery in the southern cost. These sea turtle hatcheries are for the survival of sea turtles for the next generation. It was established in 1988 to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction. Since then it has released about 3.5 million baby turtles into the wild.
Return and overnight stay at the hotel
Galle: Historic Galle Fort transports visitors to Dutch colonial times. Cobbled streets, charming boutiques, and seaside ramparts create a captivating blend of past and present.
